What Is the CDBG-DR Program?
The CDBG-DR program, administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), provides flexible funding to help communities recover from Presidentially declared disasters.
Housing Rehabilitation and Reconstruction: Repairing and rebuilding homes damaged by recent hurricanes.
Infrastructure Improvements: Restoring and enhancing public facilities and infrastructure.
Economic Revitalization: Assisting businesses and promoting job growth in affected areas.
Disaster Mitigation: Implementing measures to reduce the impact of future disasters.
At least 70% of the funds will benefit low-to-moderate-income populations, focusing on communities with the greatest unmet recovery needs.
